+ What is The Senior Citizens Association?
The Association is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization designed to benefit the senior citizens of America. The Association was chartered in North Carolina in 1977 and in Washington DC in 1980. The Association is designed to encourage greater opportunities for senior citizens in America. The Association is not affiliated, endorsed by or connected with Social Security or with any federal or state agency. We have helped hundreds of thousands of people with Medicare-related issues since 1977.
The Association was founded because of our interest in the welfare of the senior citizens of America. The Association is concerned that our senior citizens should not be penalized or impoverished by today's spiraling inflation, but should be able to live their older years with confidence, purpose, dignity, security, and peace of mind. It was for these reasons that the Association was founded. The Association is a nonprofit organization under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(4).
+ Who is eligible to join the Association?
There are no membership dues. Any person age 50 is eligible to join. By completing and submitting a registration form or free quote form, you signify your agreement to join the Association. One registration form entitles you, your spouse or anyone residing in your household to all Association benefits and privileges. Thousands are currently members of every state in America.

An online subscription to the "Senior Citizens VOICE," the official award-winning newsletter of the Association, educational workshops and seminars, luncheons, Medicare Supplement plans, long term care plans, and our Helpline toll-free number, 1-800-323-6525.
We are excited to announce new benefits for our Medicare clients. Qualifying Medicare clients will have access to: • Discounts of up to 30% on products and services from 20,000+ health and nutritional specialists. Examples of discounted services are as follows: chiropractic, acupuncture, massage therapy and nutritional programs. • Flexible, budget-friendly fitness program with access to 10,000 gym/fitness locations with no enrollment fee or contracts for a low cost of $25.00 a month. • Free 30-day walking program and personalized weekly planning for nutrition, fitness and wellness needs.
+ How is the Association funded?
The Association receives no federal or state funds. Royalty fees are paid to the Association for the use of its intellectual property from various companies to help seniors lead a more enriching life. Donations are received from companies and individuals across America. These fees and donations are used for the general purposes of the Association.
The Association depends on donations to help carry out our vital mission. Your generosity allows us to provide free counseling services to people with Medicare—and together we have helped hundreds of thousands of people with Medicare-related issues since 1977. The Association is a nonprofit organization under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(4). Contributions are not tax-deductible at this time.
+ Who are the Certified Medicare Specialists?
The Certified Medicare Specialist are licensed agents that can provide free, objective and accurate information about coverage and delivery options on Original Medicare, Medicare Supplements, Medicare Advantage, and Prescription Drug Coverage. There is no cost to you for their services. The Certified Medicare Advisors are knowledgeable and experienced Medicare Advisors that have helped thousands of Medicare beneficiaries since 1977.
Their goal is for you to fully understand your options and help you find the best available coverage that meets your needs and budget. The Certified Medicare Advisors are licensed agents authorized by the Association to help you save time by doing the research and help you qualify for discounts of up to 30% on products and services from 20,000+ health and nutritional specialists.
