Medicare Advantage Denies Coverage
Don't be fooled by a Medicare Advantage Plan. The North Carolina Department of Insurance has received numerous complaints from senior saying they were misled about joining a Medicare Advantage Plan. Some health insurance agent are misleading seniors into buying Medicare Advantage plans that are not accepted by many North Carolina doctors, specialist or hospitals, North Carolina state insurance officials warned. If you enroll in a Medicare Advantage Plan you will NOT be enrolled in Original Medicare - the federal government-run program. If you go to a doctor, hospital or supplier that doesn't belong to the Medicare Advantage Plan's network, your services may not be covered or your costs may be higher. If you enroll in a Medicare Advantage Plan, you will NOT be able to use your red, white and blue Medicare Card.
